Evening Full-Time Operations & Custodial Position

HOURS: Full-Time Afternoons, Monday through Friday in school year.
Adjusted hours during summer break. Some weekends possible during the school year. Exact
hours to be determined during interview process.


GENERAL SUMMARY: The employee helps ensure that the school building and
grounds are clean, ready, and secure and conducts themselves
within a framework of shared ministry and Catholic values.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain secure indoor and outdoor facilities outside of school hours.
• Assist with the cleaning of indoor and outdoor facilities.
• Assist with evening event preparation, operations, security, and cleanup.
• Periodic facilities maintenance (e.g. Painting, Changing Light Bulbs)
• Attend weekly prep meetings with Director of Facilities and Director of
Infrastructure to review upcoming events and plan for any needed assistance.
• Utilize smartphone and the Facility Team’s task management application.
• Practice universal precautions when cleaning up areas potentially contaminated
with blood-borne pathogens.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities or Director of Infrastructure.

Morning Part-Time Custodial & Maintenance Position

Substitute Teachers

Lansing Catholic High School in Lansing, Michigan is accepting applications for substitute teachers. Substitutes are needed in all areas of academic specialization. Candidates must have completed at least 90 semester hours of college credit, with at least a 2.0 GPA, or hold a valid or expired Michigan Teaching Certificate.

The ideal applicant is a practicing Catholic, who believes and is fully and firmly committed to the magisterial teachings of the Catholic Church. Candidates should be willing to substitute on an as-needed basis.
