Homecoming & Cougarfest

 
Saturday, September 14 - Cougar Clean Up
Help us "pretty" our grounds for our Homecoming festivities!  If you are available to help, meet our staff at the Mary statue outside of the gym at 8:00 a.m.  Clean-up will conclude around Noon.
 
Sunday, September 15
1:00-3:30 p.m. - Hallway Decorating - Grade levels will put the finishing touches on their hallways. Stop in to see their work!
3:30-4:00 p.m. - Powderpuff Warmup
4:00-5:30 p.m. - Powderpuff Games at the Stadium - All girls wishing to participate must have an updated physical on file with our athletics office and, if necessary, permission from their fall coach.
5:30-6:15 p.m. - The evening concludes with a family potluck in the stadium plaza. Grilled hot dogs will be provided, and families are asked to bring a dish to pass (Frassati, Joseph, and De Porres houses bring a side dish, Tekakwitha bring a dessert). Dishes can be dropped off at the concession stand before/during the Powderpuff games.

Join us in celebrating our all-school Homecoming Mass at 9:30 a.m. in the newly renovated gymnasium.  All are welcome!

Our morning will kick-off with the Homecoming Pep Rally to get our students and staff into the Cougar spirit in anticipation for the evening's Homecoming football game beginning at 8 a.m.  Student dismissal on this day is Noon.

The Homecoming game when Lansing Catholic takes on Ionia is at 7 p.m. in Cougar Stadium.  During the game, we will recognize our Homecoming Honorees, the 2003 and 2004 Girls' Relay State Champions, and announce the Spirit Trophy winners as well as, crowning of this year's Homecoming King and Queen during halftime.
 
Saturday, September 21
At 7:30 p.m. will celebrate Mass in the St. John Paul the Great Chapel.  This Mass is open to all students and community members attending the dance or Cougarfest.
 
The Homecoming Dance will take place from 8:30-11:00 p.m.  Forms are required for student guests. Dress is casual. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.
 
Our community is then invited to continue the Homecoming spirit at our Annual Cougarfest from 8:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Cougarfest is coming back to LCHS and we invite all parents (current and past), alumni, and friends to this fun event under the tent just inside Cougar Stadium!  Attendees must be 21 and over.  Cash bar, light snacks, and music will be available!  $10 to get in and includes (1) drink ticket.
