Homecoming Hallway Decorating - Mon., Sept. 16 to Fri., Sept. 20

Starting Mon., Sept. 16, students may begin decorating their class hallways with their designated sports team theme. All class hallway decorating is to be done by students only with no adult help. Decorating will conclude on Fri., Sept. 20. The supply closet in freshmen/sophomore hall will be open from 3:15 - 5:00pm daily, and you can come by and pick up materials during that time. Each class will receive $200 from the school to purchase additional supplies. One student from each grade level should collect the money from Mrs. Collom and that student will also be responsible for submitting receipts to show proof of what was purchased. Staff will vote for their favorite hallway on Mon. Sept. 23.

Homecoming Dance Guest Applications due - Wed., Sept. 25

If you are planning to invite a student from another school to the dance, please complete and return this form to the main office by Wed., Sept. 25. Paper copies are also available to pick up in the main office. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Collom.

Homecoming Spirit Week - Mon., Sept. 23 to Fri., Sept. 27

We will have several fun (optional) opportunities to show our spirit and get creative with our outfits on Homecoming week! There are multiple out of uniform days to participate in - see the daily schedule above. Students who do not wish to participate in the special dress days Tuesday through Friday may be in casual dress following our casual dress guidelines.

Homecoming Community Celebrations - Fri., Sept. 27

We have an awesome celebration planned for students, alumni, parents, and friends of LCHS to enjoy. This special community event includes:

Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony - 4:15pm in the Auditorium
CougarFest Tailgate featuring food trucks and live music - 5:00pm in Cougar Stadium
Cougar Family Fun Zone for the little ones - 5:00pm at the Baseball Field
Kick off for the Homecoming Football Game - 7:00pm in Cougar Stadium

Homecoming Dance - Sat., Sept. 28 - 8:00 - 10:00pm

To end our spirit filled week, students are invited to attend our Homecoming dance on Saturday from 8:00pm - 10:00pm, held in our cafeteria. Here are some important things to know before the event:

This dance is casual and students can dress in casual style clothing that is in line with our student activity dress code guidelines.
During the dance, students will be allowed in the cafeteria, library and main hallways only. Parent volunteers will be stationed in halls to keep students in the designated areas.
Doors open at 7:45pm and will close at 8:30pm. Students who enter the dance will be expected to stay for the entire event. Students may not leave the school before 9:45pm.
