Tis the season for faith, family, and football! We are thrilled to accompany our hard-working football team as they travel to the state championship game this Friday at Ford Field! Kick-off will be just after 4:00pm.

Here’s what you need to know!

  • GAME TICKETS: are $20 each. We encourage you to purchase a digital ticket via Ticketmaster before the game and walk straight to the gate. Here is a link to purchase tickets in advance.

Tickets can be purchased via cash or credit at the Ford Field box office upon arrival, but expect long lines.

Ford Field is a cashless stadium so please be prepared with a credit or debit card for tickets and concessions. 

  • COUGAR GEAR: The Spirit Shop will be open on MONDAY AND TUESDAY from 2pm - 6pm so that you can get some last minute gear to show your Cougar spirit! Spirit Shop located in the LCHS lobby.
  • GAME DAY SEND OFF: Join us to SEND OFF the football team at 12:00pm on FRIDAY! The buses will leave at 12:15pm.  Bring the energy! Grab your signs, noise makers, and your loudest voices—honk your horns, sing the fight song, and cheer alongside Kyle and the Marching Cougars. Please note: while these items are welcome at the send-off, they are not permitted inside Ford Field during the championship game.
  • STUDENT SECTION THEME: Cougar spirit wear!
  • FORD FIELD SEATING CHART: ONLY Gate A will be open for Spectators to enter Ford Field. 
    • Spectator Seating: We are the “Away Team” for this game. Spectator seating is available in sections 125-129.
    • Student Section Seating: Our student section is assigned to section 130 and the band is in section 131.
  • SPECTATOR DOs & DON'TS: The MHSAA has specific guidelines regarding items permitted and prohibited at the championship game, including signs, noise makers, and bag policies. For all the details, be sure to review the official rules document linked here, MHSAA Championship Game Policies.
  • TELEVISED/LIVESTREAM:  All MHSAA Championship games will be broadcast locally by FanDuel Sports Network Detroit (formerly Bally Sports Detroit). The games can also be streamed live on Fubo (free trial), with a package that includes FanDuel Sports Network Detroit.
