Freshmen Field Trip

On a Friday in September, all the freshmen and their teachers take a trip over to Grand Rapids.  During the day we visit the Grand Rapids Public Museum, the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum and grave site, and the Chaffee Planetarium. Students bring a lunch and travel with their homerooms. It's a great day for the freshmen to spend some time learning interesting ideas and facts, while having a chance to get to know each other in a non-classroom setting. No additional fee is associated, as the cost of the trip is covered by the student activity fee, although students may bring a $1 to ride the beautifully renovated carousel at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. Students leave right at 8:00 and get back right at 3:00 p.m. Contact Ms. DeVries for more information:
