Students and parents will have the opportunity to ask questions and meet with our faculty and administration. 8th Grade Visit Days at LCHS

Tuesday, November 8, and Wednesday, November 16, 2022  10:00am-1:00pm

All 8th graders are welcome to attend this fun visit day at Lansing Catholic High School!  Students will tour of the school, attend mini-lessons in various subject areas, learn about student activities and athletics, and meet other 8th graders, current LCHS students, teachers, counselors, administration, and coaches. Lunch is provided and students should wear their school uniforms to this event.   If you have an 8th grader who does not attend one of our Catholic partner schools, but would like to attend this event, please contact our Admissions Coordinator, Ms. Stacia DeVries, at 517-267-2158 or email stacia.devries@lansingcatholic.org

Tuition & Financial Aid Night

Tuesday, January 24, 2023,  6:00 pm

Any family (current or incoming) with tuition and financial aid questions are welcome to attend this meeting in LCHS's Library. LCHS’s Tuition Advisor Renee Fischman will review the financial aid application process for the 2023-24 school year and answer any questions families have about tuition or assistance.

This meeting in not mandatory, but is a great opportunity to ask questions in person and walk through the financial aid process.  (March 1st is the deadline for families to apply to be eligible for the maximum number of financial assistance opportunities at LCHS and through the Diocese of Lansing.) Incoming Freshmen Registration Meetings

Group Registration nights occur monthly in February, March, and April. Families will be emailed a link to sign up for a registration appointment once their student has been accepted. At your registration appointment, you and your 8th grader will meet with our staff to verify your online enrollment packet is complete, and discuss and review course requests, service, social, and extracurricular opportunities, athletics, and more!

Meet the Cougars Event for Incoming Freshmen and their Families

TBD, 6:00-7:00 pm

Incoming freshmen and their parents have the opportunity to meet and talk with the coaches for each sport and learn about practices, summer conditioning, etc. as well as meet with our band/choir/drama director, service coordinator, and campus ministry/student activities director at this Meet the Cougars event. Freshman Summer Packets will also be readily available for pickup that includes textbook lists, a survival guide, and more. If you cannot make this event, please feel free to contact our coaches to find out what you need to know about summer practices, tryouts, etc. 

Chromebook Orientations - Incoming 9th Graders

August 2023 - TBD

Each student along with a parent must attend a Chromebook Orientation at which students will receive their Chromebook and a tutorial. If you have any questions about Chromebook orientations, please contact our IT Specialist, Mr. Doug Moore: doug.moore@lansingcatholic.org. Please consult your summer plans before signing up for an orientation.

Freshman Parent Orientation

August 2023 - TBD

All parents of freshmen and new transfer students are asked to attend Freshman Parent Orientation. Parents will rotate through sessions highlighting our missions and meeting the Deans of Spiritual, Intellectual, and Social Formation. 

Used Books & Uniforms Sale

Families may purchase books from any source including online or from other families directly. LCHS has also set up a Lansing Catholic Parents Facebook page for families to post items they want to buy or sell.  Many families buy texts online through various sites such as campusbooks.com, chegg.combarnesandnoble.com or amazon.com by searching for the book ISBN.
